Light that has a color temperature of approximately 5500-6500°K, which has been approximated to be the color temperature of ordinary sunlight during the day under normal atmospheric conditions. It should be noted, however, that sunlight during the day under certain circumstances can reach upwards of 8000°K, which is why the term Photographic Daylight is sometimes used when referring to a color temperature of 5500°K.
